Recognition
Recently, The Star had the distinction of receiving more awards from the International Automotive Media Competition than any other automotive magazine. Contributors to the magazine received 26 awards from IAMC including Best Entry of 2015, Best Photography and Best Magazine Article, as well as multiple gold, silver and bronze awards for articles written by Mercedes-Benz Club of America members and contributing journalists.
We recognize that The Star is one of the most cherished benefits offered to members, which is why our professional team and volunteers pour a great deal of time and effort into each and every issue of the magazine.
A special shout-out to The Star’s editor, Gary Anderson, on a job well done in leading and lining up editorial and production, and Stephan McKeown for designing the stunning layouts. Also, to core volunteer staff members Richard and Laura Simonds and Jason Burton – “Thank You.” This is the team that puts a tremendous amount of time and enthusiasm into each issue.
