Celebrating Our Rich History
Spring is quickly approaching and that means a lineup of unforgettable events has been planned for 2016. If you haven’t already done so, I encourage you to visit www.mbca.org to review all the upcoming local, regional and national events and begin mapping out your year. And as you plan, be thinking about what you will be rolling up in as you attend various events, because as we enter the Mercedes-Benz Club of America’s 60th year, we will definitely be rolling in the year in style.
2016 Spring Raffle
We will be kicking off the 2016 MBCA Spring Raffle by offering members a chance to win a 2016 Airstream Interstate – plus $20,000 cash. MBCA is thrilled to partner with its friends at Airstream to award this incredible prize to the lucky member holding the winning ticket in the drawing. June Jamboree
This year marks the 53rd annual June Jamboree, to be hosted by the Northern New Jersey Section. June Jamboree is the longest running event in MBCA’s history. This year’s June Jamboree will also be hosting MBCA’s 60th anniversary, where we’ll be coming together and celebrating a monumental mark in our club’s history. This exciting weekend is lined up with a welcome dinner, a concours d’elegance and lots of camaraderie. European trips
This year’s European trips have events planned for members that offer direct and personal access to Mercedes-Benz facilities, museums, assembly plants and the many amazing European landmarks. Members will experience a first-class European vacation and VIP tours that place them at the heart of Mercedes-Benz’s rich history. StarFest 2016
MBCA’s major event of the year, StarFest® 2016, to be hosted by the Minuteman Section, is scheduled to take place August 3-6 in Northeastern Connecticut’s “Quiet Corner,” where the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island converge. The weekend is lined up full of memorable events including track, concours d’elegance, rallies, nautical cruises, Ladies of Mercedes-Benz activities, golf and the Awards Banquet. Legends of the Autobahn 2016
Plan on celebrating the world’s pre-eminent German-vehicle brands at Legends of the Autobahn®. This year’s event will be celebrating performance and motorsports by featuring a special class for performance cars. This will include vehicles that have been modified for performance and/or appearance, such as premerger models from AMG or Mercedes-Benzes from Lorinser or Brabus.
