Over the past few weeks, I’ve listened to (and have read) countless stories from members about their club experience. From the German trips to the track and concours events to weekend road trips, thousands of ever-lasting memories, and sometimes life-changing friendships, have been created. With great anticipation, I’m preparing to embark on my own experience in serving members, like you, in the coming year. As we’ve already entered 2015, we begin another year with a solid lineup of national, regional and local member events. As you plan your summer, make sure you reserve the following dates.
StarTech 2015 – June 12-14
StarTech is jam-packed with activities that will entice and deliver an exceptional experience for all members of the family. Kick off the weekend at The Great American Ballpark’s Mercedes-Benz Diamond Club, participate in the technology sessions and speaker lineup, and marvel in the spectacular lineup of 200 vehicles at the Ault Park Concours d’Elegance where Mercedes-Benz will be the main marque.
Legends Of The Autobahn® – August 14
Plan on celebrating the world’s pre-eminent German vehicle brands at the Legends of the Autobahn. The weekend will be filled with beauty, prowess and grace of German automotive engineering. Take the opportunity to catch a sneak-peek of new vehicle releases from top German brands. And as a bonus, this year’s Mercedes-Benz Legends of the Autobahn will be celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Mercedes-Benz 190SL – the two-door, grand-touring roadster introduced in 1955.
Gemütlichkeit 2015 – August 19-22
Take the next weekend and experience the full potential of your Mercedes-Benz. You will have the opportunity to participate in the autocross and driving experience at the Pittsburgh International Race complex. Come and enjoy the friendship and camaraderie with other thrill seekers over a weekend of autocross, Concours d’Elegance, tours, and a night of celebration.
I’ve never been more excited to be a part of something as great as the Mercedes-Benz Club of America. I’m looking forward to participating and seeing you at these, and other, events in the coming year. Here’s to a great 2015!
