Mercedes-Benz of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, (Shown above) is technologically the most advanced dealership in the region for those of us in the Cincinnati Section fortunate enough to live in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. True to the Mercedes-Benz mantra, “The Best or Nothing,” this dealership, which is run by The Collection Auto Group, is one of the most sophisticated dealerships into which you are ever likely to drive.

The Collection Auto Group, which was established in 2005 by Bernie Moreno with his first Mercedes dealership in Cleveland, Ohio – Mercedes-Benz of North Olmsted – owns Mercedes-Benz of Fort Mitchell. In its first month of operation, the Fort Mitchell dealership had the third largest sales volume in its region. Moreover, Moreno received the Best of the Best Dealer Recognition Award in that first year and has maintained this status for seven consecutive years. The Collection Auto Group now owns 25 dealerships in the area and quickly made an impact in the local community, supporting the Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky, St. Elizabeth Healthcare, the Cincinnati Symphony and Pops Orchestra, ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer, and many other notable organizations in the area. Of course, customers are No. 1, too.

Mercedes-Benz of Fort Mitchell has a variety of amenities for its clientele, including a smart new bar with coffee and snacks, a putting green for golfers, and complimentary anytime “Pit-Stop Service.” This convenience includes quick systems, alignment, and brake-pressure checks, a battery test, tire pressure check, and tire-tread depth measurement. Customers can also stop in anytime to receive a complimentary car wash in the dealer’s fully automated wash bay – a system that uses minimal water and precise chemical disbursement – cleaning as many as 60 vehicles in one hour. The dealership also provides pickup and delivery services to customers in the area, as well as a courtesy shuttle for those who prefer to drop off their car. Service technicians are equipped with cutting-edge technology, which may soon include innovations such as Google Glass to specify the right parts to repair each vehicle, saving time and money.

Mercedes-Benz of Fort Mitchell is one of the greenest dealerships in the country. The dealership has implemented numerous measures to minimize its impact on the environment. Just like the new S-Class automobiles, Mercedes-Benz of Fort Mitchell is lit by 100-percent LED technology, providing a 75-percent savings in energy and 10 years of worry-free maintenance. The dealership has radiant floor heating and uses water- and air-pressure jacks instead of hydraulic-oil jacks. The oil-change bay is specially lined with fiberglass to prevent oil from seeping into the water table.

The dealership is working closely with the MBCA Cincinnati Section to host a number of events in the coming years, and also provides a very welcome parts and service discount to club members. The dealership goes out of its way to make club members feel welcome. For example, at our first event, we were given a grand tour of the facility, an introduction to the new S-Class, and a hosted lunch for all members in attendance. MBCA Cincinnati Section looks forward to building a fruitful relationship with Mercedes-Benz of Fort Mitchell – and a partnership that continues to blossom for us all.
