Improve Your Health in More Ways than one
There is scientific proof that volunteering improves health and happiness. If this is truly the case, Mercedes-Benz Club of America has a lot of healthy and happy members.
It goes without saying that this club would not be able to provide the many member benefits it does if it weren’t for the many club members who step up and volunteer. Being a champion for a major volunteer organization is not an easy task; I’ve been fortunate to work alongside such a great group of dedicated, talented individuals.
When you are out enjoying the rest of this summer’s activities, please be sure to thank your fellow club members who have invested their time in providing an unforgettable experience for our members.
If you are interested in learning more about how you can become more involved with the club, you can connect with your local sectional, regional or national club leaders. There are many opportunities to serve and be a part of a team that organizes and manages the exceptional events that enhance your Mercedes-Benz ownership experience; moreover, improve your health by volunteering at any of the events of your local section!
StarFest 2016 – August 3-6
There is still time to register for StarFest®, hosted by the Minuteman Section. This year’s event will take place in Northeastern Connecticut’s Quiet Corner – where the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island converge. The weekend is lined up full of memorable events: track motoring, concours d’elegance, rally, nautical cruises, Ladies of Mercedes get-togethers, golf, and … the Grand Awards Banquet. Legends of the Autobahn – August 19
Plan on celebrating the world’s pre-eminent German vehicle brands at Legends of the Autobahn®. This year’s event will celebrate performance and motorsports by featuring a special performance class for cars. This will include vehicles that have been modified for performance and/or appearance, such as premerger models from AMG or other aftermarket tuners, or models modified for performance by their owners.
